Descrizione: Labor Relations Expert in Roma, Italy

The Industrial and Employee Relations Expert reports to the HR Business Partner. The purpose of this position is to facilitate the organizational models and optimization of labor costs, defining and ensuring the execution of the personnel administration in order to satisfy the company’s personnel needs and standards, in accordance with company standards and procedures. 


Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
  • Providing internal consultancy on the legislation governing labor relations and collective bargaining
  • Supporting from legal point of view the concerns relating to employment issues (hiring/terminations/extensions/working hours/holidays/unpaid/paid leaves/work injuries/transfers, etc ...)
  • Handling local labour relations in supporting the HR team in negotiations and case management, removing bottle necks and addressing critical issues
  • Ensuring compliance to company global guidelines in the relationship with Unions, workers’ representatives, labor authorities and employees
  • Managing disciplinary actions and labor disputes,interfacing with external lawyers and labor consultants
  • Ensuring adherence to HR rules and company procedures and suggests internal policies as needed
  • Driving HR decisions on complex cases with significant financial and legal risk for the organization  
Technical Skills:

  • Excellent knowledge of personnel administration
  • Excellent knowledge of HR Management principles and practices
  • Excellent knowledge of English

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in law
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in labour law/employee relations specialist role
