JOB DESCRIPTION We are looking for a Permitting Manager to support our Solar Project Development Team based in offices in Rome. MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Support the development team in the development of greenfield and brownfield solar projects; • Follow the development of projects from the early development stage throughout the authorization phase until its implementation • Communicate with public authorities for the processing of permits, licenses and authorizations • Processing, coordination, management and negotiation of all project permits and contracts. • Liaise with the engineering department and conduct due diligence on all contract documents to ensure projects meet financing and technical criteria. • Preparation/attendance to meetings with partners/authorities/stakeholders • Site evaluation and assessment YOUR PROFILE What are we looking for? • Completed Law or Engineering Degree • Minimum 2 years´ experience in a similar role • Strong technical and communication skills • Knowledge of the Italian regional and national legislation relating to permitting process (VIA, AU, PAUR) of renewable energy projects. • Understanding of the grid connection procedures and requirements (TICA/Grid Code) • Ability to write well structured, concise and well-reasoned reports, proposals and documents • Excellent interpersonal skills and appetite for collaboration and problem solving • Flexibility to travel in Italy and abroad • Fluency in Italian and English • Willing to relocate to Rome Applications that do not meet the requirements will not be considered.
